Block Sheets

This feature is only available if Blocks and Rows have been set up in AgriSmart.

Create a new block sheet

Set up

  1. Open the AgriSmart app and log in.
  2. Tap the green plus icon at the bottom right of the screen to open timesheet options.
  3. Tap the fruit icon to open block sheets.
  4. Tap the green plus icon at the bottom right of the screen to create a new block sheet.
  5. The date will default to today. Tap the date to change it if required. This option is only available on iPhone. If the date needs to be changed on an Android device, this is completed later in the process and is explained below.
  6. Tap the job field to select a job.
  7. Tap the block field to select a block.
  8. Tap the activity field to select an activity.
  9. To pull through the units assigned to each row, tick Load default units on Android or ensure the Load default units toggle is on (shown in green) on iPhone. These units pull through from AgriSmart.
  10. Tap the team field to select an entire group of employees. Multiple teams can be selected if required.
  11. Tap the staff field to select individual employees. Multiple employees can be selected if required.
  12. Tap Next.

Assign employees to rows

  1. Tap a row to select it.
    • If using an Android device, multiple rows can be selected at once. To do this, tap one row, then tap and hold the next row to add it to the selection. To select consecutive rows all at once, tap the first row, then tap and hold the last row required. All rows between the first and last selected row will also be selected.
  2. Tap Add staff.
  3. Select the employees who claimed the row.
  4. Tap the left-facing arrow at the top of the screen.
  5. You will now see that the default units have been apportioned evenly amongst the selected employees. If the apportionment should not be even, tap an employee’s name against the applicable row and update their units, then tap OK. The remaining employees’ units will automatically adjust to ensure the total units remain correct.
    • For example:
      • If there are 70 units and 3 employees, each employee will initially be allocated 23.33 units.
      • If Employee A’s units are updated to 20, Employee B and Employee C will automatically update to 25 each.
      • If Employee A’s units are updated to 30, Employee B and Employee C will automatically update to 20 each.
    • If all units were not claimed during that period, update each employee’s units to reflect the actual total claimed. For example:
      • If each employee claimed 20 units, the total units would reduce from 70 to 60.
      • The remaining 10 units would still need to be claimed at a later time.
  6. Repeat steps 1-5 as required.
  7. Tap ‘Next’.

  1. On Android devices, the date can be changed via the date field shown here.

Assign employees to rows

Timesheets previously assigned to rows will appear with the units already claimed. Previously claimed units cannot be adjusted here, however additional employees can still be assigned to rows if there are remaining units left to claim.

  3. Select the employees who claimed the row during this session.
  4. Tap the left-facing arrow at the top of the screen.
  5. You will now see that the remaining units have been apportioned evenly amongst the newly selected employees. If the unit apportionment needs to be adjusted, tap an employee’s name against the applicable row and update their units, then tap OK. The remaining employees’ units added during this session will automatically adjust to ensure the total units remain correct. For example:
    • When the block sheet was originally created, three employees each claimed 20 units. As the total units claimable for the row were 70, there were 10 units remaining to be claimed.
    • During this session, one additional employee was added to the row to claim the remaining units. As there were 10 units left, the employee was automatically assigned the remaining 10 units, completing the row.
  6. Repeat steps 1-5 as required.
  7. Tap ‘Next’.
