Device startup
1. Press the power button on the side of the device to turn it on. This button also functions as the lock/unlock and home button.
2. The device has two cameras: front and rear. You can switch between them using the switcher located at the top right of the screen.
3. To clock in/out, look into the device using the front camera. If you’re using the rear camera, frame the person’s face within the screen’s bezels to scan.
Main menu access
1. Without looking into the device (to avoid clocking in/out), tap the icon at the bottom right of the screen. This icon resembles a four-leaf clover.
2. After tapping the clover icon, you’ll be prompted to choose the verification mode. Four icons will appear:
- Tap card
- User ID
- Face
- Password
3. Select the face icon, which will scan your face (without clocking you in/out) and take you to the main menu.
Connect to the internet
1. From the main menu, tap System Settings > Network Settings > Wi-Fi Settings.
2. If Wi-Fi is turned off, tap the icon to the right of Wireless Network to enable it.
3. Select the network or hotspot you wish to connect to, enter the password, and the device will connect to Wi-Fi.
4. Once connected, the device is ready for user enrolment.
Enrolment
1. From the main menu, tap User Management.
2. In User Management, you’ll see a list of all active users within AgriSmart’s Team Manager available for enrolment. You can search for a user by their username or user ID using the search bar at the top of the interface.
3. To enrol a user on the device, select their name, confirm the verification notification, and choose one of the following options: Card Number, Password, or Face.
4. Once completed, they will be enrolled and able to clock in/out using the device.
Transaction history
1. From the main menu, tap Attendance Search.
2. In Attendance Search, you can view all transactions on the device. Transactions are displayed in descending order and show how the user clocked in (e.g. face). It will also display their ID number and the time of the transaction.
3. To view whether a transaction is a clock in or clock out, refer to the Clock Entries Report within AgriSmart.
Duplicate punch
1. Select System Settings > Attendance Parameters > scroll down to Verification Time Interval.
2. Adjust the duplicate punch time to the appropriate duration.
Clock entries report
1. In AgriSmart, hover over Reports > click Clock Entries Report > select the desired date range and apply any other filters > click GO.
